Rules of Play

The game involves the purchase of a virtual stub raffle ticket via an electronic raffle system (ERS) approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) and operated by charitable gaming supplier BUMP Worldwide Inc.

Ticket sales commence on Wednesday September 7, 2021. There is only one draw in this lottery. The draw will occur between 2:00pm and 3:00pm on Saturday November 27, 2021 at 500 Hallmark Drive, Waterloo, Ontario.

The draw will be conducted using an electronic raffle system (ERS) approved by the AGCO and provided by BUMP Worldwide Inc. The winning ticket is determined by a random number generator software integral to the ERS.

A neutral third party (that is, a person who has not purchased a ticket) will initiate the draw sequence using the ERS dashboard.

Tickets prices are 1 for $20, 2 for $35, 3 for $50 and 7 for $100 each. A maximum of 16,457 tickets are available.

The lottery winner receives a 2022 Audi Q5 luxury SUV valued at $65,829.87.

Ticket purchasers must be in the Province of Ontario and at least 18 years of age at time of ticket purchase.

Tickets cannot be purchased in the name of persons under 18 years of age.

Members and staff of the Rotary Club of Kitchener, and other persons or companies involved in the conduct and management of the raffle lottery are prohibited from purchasing a ticket.

In the unlikely event that the draw is postponed due to technical difficulty, power interruption, emergency or other unforeseen event, the Rotary Club of Kitchener will remedy the situation at the earliest possible opportunity then conduct the draw and announce the winner without further delay.

LOTTERY REGULATIONS

One prize with a total value of $65,829.87, inclusive of all applicable taxes and surcharges, will be awarded in this lottery. The grand prize winner will be awarded a 2022 Audi Q5 SUV. Delivery of the vehicle is P.O.D., Kitchener, Ontario. Prize details are available on the lottery website (KitchenerRotaryCarLottery.ca).

The draw will occur between 2:00pm and 3:00pm on Saturday November 27, 2021 at the KidsAbility Centre for Child Development, 500 Hallmark Drive, Waterloo, Ontario. Draw times are approximate. The winning ticket number will be drawn using an electronic raffle system (ERS) provided by a charitable gaming supplier approved by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario. The ERS uses a random number generator software integral to the system to select the winning number.

A neutral third party (that is, a person who has not purchased a ticket) will initiate the draw sequence. Complete draw results will be published on the Club’s lottery website and Facebook page not later than the day after the draw. All winners will be notified by mail, email or phone within ten days of the draw and provided instructions on how to redeem their prize(s). Prizes must be accepted as awarded and claimed within six months of the draw date.

By purchasing a lottery ticket, purchasers acknowledge that they have read, understand and agree to the lottery rules and regulations. Ticket purchase implies consent for the Rotary Club of Kitchener to release winners’ name, municipality of residence, and likeness for promotional and official reporting purposes.

The Rotary Club of Kitchener is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information. The Club will use ticket purchasers’ personal information to administer the lottery. The Club will also use personal information to send current and future lottery related communications to ticket purchasers who provide express consent to use their personal information for that specific purpose.
